Re: Champions among us
You cast a bolt of fire towards a random bird in the sky to train your aiming skills, sadly you miss the first on and the bird takes off with most birds, however one stays eagerly in the air.
As you charge up another fire bolt the bird dives straight towards you, in confusion you stop interuppt your spell and the ground under you sets on fire. As you try to put out the fire with your foot the bird lands on your shoulder, for some weird reason.
You successfully put out the small fire with the bird still sitting on your shoulder, what do you do?
> Try to make friends with the bird and feed with a little bit of elven bread that you have in your pocket.
> Shoo the bird away and the try to cast a fire bolt on it.
> Let it be untill it decides to take off. Start inspecting the forest untill you make up your mind off if wether you want to enter it or not.

Re: Champions among us
The bird accepts your gift and seems very kind, and now when you take a closer look at the bird you realise that the bird is a house sparrow. The house sparrow does not have any role in combat (at the moment) and the most the bird can offer you so far is a nice friend.
The bird quickly switches place to sit on your head, Will you allow this? (y/n) What will the birds name be? (cool name)
It's getting darker and darker every second and it will soon be pitch black, luckily you have your tinderbox in a worst case cenario. What would you like to do now?
> Enter the forest with your new friend.
> Find a place to rest over the night close to the forest.

Re: Champions among us
You make up a fire and go to sleep.
You wake up with some back pains, clearly not the best sleep of your life, but atleast you seem to be unharmed. Jack also quickly arrives and lands on your head.
You enter the forest and walk for maybe 2 hours and you estimate that you are in the middle of the forest when you see the first animal except a few hares, birds and some really disgusting bugs. It appears to be a resting female deer. You try to approach it with out scaring it but it doesn't seem to react at all.
When you are about 5 meters from the deer you notice it - the deer is bleeding from it's leg, and the cut actually seems somewhat deep. You have to do something, the deer is obviously in pain and can't move.
> Kill the deer now - it's at it's weakest point!
> Execute the deer to release it from it's agony.
> Remove your shirt and wrap it around the deers leg tightly. Then try to track the reason of it's wound.

Re: Champions among us
You figure you have to save the poor deer and remove your shirt to wrap it around the wound, but as soon as you start you hear a growl behind you. It's a wolf. You finish the wrapping and quickly turn, and Jack takes off from your head, but it's to late, the wolf is already in mid air and gets the first hit on you. However since you turned in his mid air he couldn't hit where he wanted and only dealt 1 dmg (I am using a dice roll system since the one on the forum doesn't seem to work that well)
It's now your turn to attack

Re: Champions among us
Lol sry forgot wolf HP
You cast a frostbolt on the wolf but you barely hit, dealing only 1 damage
The wolf jumps towards you and scratch you over your chest, leaving a bleeding wound (this is not a status effect and wont deal dmg) deals 3 damage.
Combat:
Llanivayaratis 6/10
Wolf 7/8
What do you do?

I hoped that "Almost perfect hit would make it clear that it was 1-4, but maybe from now on I should write it out. EDIT: Sry, seems like I erased that.DonNino wrote:And whats the maximum attackpower of the wolf?

You cast a frostbolt, and you hit it where it's fur is the thickest. You only deal 2 damage, however you successfully freeze the wolf making it your turn again.

Re: Champions among us
You cast a firebolt at the wolf, in hope of finishing it off and it lands almost perfectly! You deal 5 damage meaning you successfully killed the wolf, good job! Take a quick look back and the deer and it seems relieved and looks at you with gratitude.
What will you do now?
> Take back your shirt from the deer, you've already done enough for it and it should survive now. Then do one of the other choices.
> Continue straight through the forest to see what's on the other side of the forest.
> Climb a high tree and try to find a good path to take.

Re: Champions among us
Haha, sure, It's good that you keep me updated when I forget things or when you have good ideas your own.
You heal yourself back to full health and climb a tree.
As you estimated you are pretty much in the middle of the forest, as you don't know wether you are facing north, south, east or west I will go with forwards, backwards, left and right. Backwards you have Astrenglor, to the left you have the road from the city, forwards there seem to be a small village and to the right there is a quite big river.
You climb down, where do you want to go? Choose from the options above.

Re: Champions among us
You climb down from the tree and see that the deer have fallen asleep, poor thing, but as you are sure it will make it you leave it there, continuing forward.
After you've walked a while again you come across a pond and see a brown bear drinking from it, the bear also seems to have caught a few fishes and seems satesfied. Suddenly it notices you and you stare at each other for maybe 20 seconds before you snap back to reality.
What would you like to do?
> Walk around the pond and keep your distance from the bear and continue forward.
> Try to catch a few fishes for yourself and pick some nice vegetables to eat to please yourself.
> Attack the bear from a safe distance to train your combat skills, after all there are plenty of other bears in the world.
