Re: The Haunted House
You attempt to make a cross with your arms, and screaming of your lungs full power, you compell the ghost in the power of christ.
It does not work.
"Only fools believe in omnipotence! I believe in science!"
"You are weak like my son! Useless too! Have any of you ever achieved anything, anything what so ever?! Worked for something?! Seen it lost because the ones you try to help are too blind to see through their own stupidity?"
Uffgard charges towards you with his sword raised in anger, and attempts a slash at you.

Re: The Haunted House
As you attempt to dodge the sword, Uffgaard manages to slice your arm. Though, being sturdy, he doesn't damage it quite as well.

Re: The Haunted House
((To graduate you have to do SOMEWHAT good...))
"I can prove that your son is nowhere near as useless as you think!"
The words apparently caught the attention of the ghost.
"Speak! And if thy tale be false, I will strike you down!" Uffgaard shouts.
You pull out the graduation report from you backpack. Uffgaard lowers his sword as he sees it. The crumbling paper, shows nothing but straight A's and full scores.
Uffgaard drops his sword. "He... He achieved something?" Uffgaard takes the report in his hand. "He really... He really did..." Stunned, he looks down at the flawless papers.
Uffgaard seems to fade, and with a pride in eye, he clentches the report, just before he completely vanishes...
- Examine the Bookshelves
- Examine the desk
- Interact with the sword
- Enter the Living room.
((Yes, the first few fights will be like this, untill you have something to use in a fight.))

((No, he was just the first example of a fight with a ghost. You'll meet the level boss later.))
You look at the sword. It is clearly sturdy, and obviously sharp. You felt that youself. It might be good to have, and if nothing else, it can be sold as a souveneir when you get back out of the mansion.
Right hand: Iron Sword
Backpack: Matches, Bandages, Love letter, Charred Letter, Medicinal report, Hessian note, Iron cup.
- Examine the Bookshelves
- Examine the desk
- Enter the Living room.

Re: The Haunted House
((It does not work against ethereal beings, but you will not only fight ethereal beings.))
As you approach the desk, you notice that the massive flood of papers range from many mathematical collections, to ballistics, to physical theories. Though two papers hit your eyes. One is concerning theories of immortality, and the other is about demonology. These also seem to be the most recent.
Backpack: Matches, Bandages, Love letter, Charred Letter, Medicinal report, Hessian note, Iron cup.
- Examine the Bookshelves
- Enter the Living room.
((Also, this one will not be answered before tomorrow. Stay tuned though.))

Re: The Haunted House
You pic up the notes about immortality and demonology, and begin examining the bookshelves. Nothing falls to your eye, except one book. As opposed to the others, which are relating quite scientific topics, this one is named "The key for the room". As you open it, you notice it is hollow, and inside lies a small key. Probably a room key.
Backpack: Matches, Bandages, Love letter, Charred Letter, Medicinal report, Hessian note, Iron cup, Uffgaards Notes.
- Enter the Living room.
((You can read the newly achieved notes any time))

Re: The Haunted House
((Sorry i haven't replied for long, had to think up an actual story instead of just going along. It should be much more connected now, and more thought through.))
You enter the entrance hall once again to study the newly aquired papers.
The papers are highly connected. It seems that Uffgaard experimented with demonology before he died, in the attempt to gain immortality. It seems that not only did he experiment with pets, such as dogs and rats, but also with humans. Guests in particular. The demonology papers explain that he carried out the experiments on sleeping victims, by drugging them and carrying them to the first floor. When they didn't get any more visitors, he attempted to experiment with his wife, then his son.
The last of the notes describe how he was preparing to take the final step, and become immortal himself. He states that he left the papers in the study, hoping he would not harm them attempting to become immortal. This means he did not die in the study.
You also notice that the immortality is gained by letting your body be possessed by demons. Multiple notes describe how he accidently ripped out the soul of many victims before making a demon possess them, and not only that, the first few victims were just driven horribly mad by the near loss of their souls.
Some notes decribe the meeting with a demon, whom controlled dreams. This demon was immortal, and murderous, which is why Uffgaard decided not to attempt to meet the demon again. The demon was met at the same time as the Thompson woman visited the house.
He also describes the immortality of a soldier he found in the nearby forest. This soldier is immortal, as long as his bones are not returned to his burial place.
There's not any notes of Uffgaard disposing of any of his victims, so every person mentioned in the notes might still be near the house.
Backpack: Matches, Bandages, Love letter, Charred Letter, Medicinal report, Hessian note, Iron cup, Uffgaards Notes. Room-key of Silver.
- Enter the Living room.
- Enter the Kitchen.

Re: The Haunted House
((Bandages are used automatically, and they are infinite))
From the entrancehall you walk into the kitchen. It looks newer than the other rooms, yet still, the carpet of dust covers it. A difference though, is the fact that the kitchen looks like it was left quickly, whereas the other rooms were clean.
You see a door, probably leading further into the house. There's also a kitchen chest, probably also used as a coolbox.
There's a silver steakknife lying on the kitchentable.
- Examine the coolbox
- Take the Silver Knife.
- Go further into the house.
