Pokemon Black/White
Anyone else playing/plan to play this?
Just got it going on my wife's DS today. (I cannot currently locate my DS, so having to share hers)
I've got Black, shes gonna play White.
I chose Snivy as my starter.

Re: Pokemon Black/White
I personally stopped believing pokemon was any good after the first 3 generations, and i can proudly remember all however many those are, probably like 400 or something.

Yeah, I had stopped playing after generation 2. Recently due to a friend my wife and I played Gen 4 (Pearl/Diamond), haven't finished it yet, but since B/W came out we decided to give it a try.

Re: Pokemon Black/White
I can't lie though, i did get an DS emu and play a little Pokemon Black just to test it out, and i have to admit that it was kind of weird and better graphics obviously than the older games, but not knowing any of the pokemon was kind of a sucky thing for me. I remember connecting with all the pokemon in the games because i had seen their personality in the show.

Yeah, I never played Gen3, but I know in Gen4 they did the same as Gen5, where only new pokemon show up until you complete the first pokedex, then you can go and find all the pokemon in the world.

Sadly, yeah. I fully plan on playing this, and totally not illegally. What gave you guys that idea?

Re: Pokemon Black/White
As my DS has died and it's kind of a pain to find the one that works, I just emulate it. Horribly slowly, but then again, I haven't tried Black or White.

Which emulator do you have, and have you downloaded a Black/White ROM?

Re: Pokemon Black/White
I will honestly admit that at first I had my doubts, but so far it is turning out to be a decent game. They have put in some fresh techniques and ideas, so it doesn't feel as much like a clone with a bunch of new pokemon attached, which pleases me.
